CRE Capital, Inc. provides commercial real estate mortgage and equity brokerage services to commercial property owners across the United States.

Thomas A. Dewar is the founder of CRE Capital, Inc.

Tom Dewar

Mr. Dewar is a commercial mortgage banker who has been actively financing commercial property for over twenty (20) years. Prior to founding CRE Capital, Inc., Mr. Dewar co-founded Vanguard Realty Capital, Inc. in 1994, a commercial mortgage banking firm that was subsequently named the northern California correspondent for AEGON USA Realty Advisors. Prior to founding Vanguard Realty Capital, Inc., Mr. Dewar was a Vice President of Union Bank's (now Union Bank of California) Mortgage Banking Group. Union Bank was a correspondent for Lincoln National Life (now Delaware Lincoln Investment Management), AEGON USA Realty Advisors, Inc,. GNA (now GE Asset Management) and Standard Life (now Stancorp Mortgage Investors). Mr. Dewar has placed loans with most major institutional investors ranging in size from under $1mm to over $40mm. Mr. Dewar also has experience in property management and construction lending Mr. Dewar holds BS degree from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
